Rose Zeller ([info]_rose_) wrote in [info]finnigans_rpg,
Despite her complaints to Eddie on the journal, Rose loved her job. She loved the travelling, she loved the intense focus of bit by bit breaking down a centuries old curse. She even loved the dust and the mud, the heat and the intense cold. Mostly, though, she loved the team that she had been assigned to, who had taken her in and given her the chance to make her own place, always supportive, even in their challenges of her work and knowledge. Of course, after a mission like their most recent, she loved coming home – she even felt a touch of intense affection for Pucey, who had so readily supplied her with extra Bruise Healing Paste and even a salve that had made the soreness of her ribs disappear within minutes – but she had to admit it didn’t take long from coming home until she was itching to go somewhere, do something, anything. Usually that wasn’t too much of a problem, but today had just been… Sweet Helga she felt restless today. She had even gone so far as to spending a couple of hours at the bank going through the paperwork for the Peru mission.

Rose had been headed to Finnigan’s figuring that if nothing else, at least there was Seamus who was always good for a drink and a smile, or maybe Dominic, whom she had nothing but admiration and adoration for – that man… Rose figured that if she was older and had been the type who was actually looking to settle down and if Dominic had been that type of man, too, he would be the kind of person she would settle down with. Neither were, but that didn’t make him less than good company. Anyway, she had been on her way to Finnigan’s when the seen the sign outside Quickpulse and sheer intrigue had lured her inside. To say that she was a frequent customer would be an overstatement, but she was familiar with the concept; she just hadn’t really had the need for it.

Smiling at the witch behind the counter, holding her eyes for a moment longer than was strictly necessary she began looking around, idly trailing the tip of her finger along the edge of the shelf as she went.
