Park life Who: Bryony and open What: Conversation? Where: Monument Alley Park When: April 14th, Afternoon Rating: SFW, I'd imagine.
It was the first truly warm day of the year, and though her portrait was as yet unfinished Bryony hadn't been able to resist the temptation to get outside and do some painting. She'd brought watercolours and a small easel out to the park with her and was sitting in shade, looking out at the bright flowers. There was a blue tit flitting between the undergrowth and a nearby tree, but having had her fill of birds for the time being, Bryony was focused on clump of white-and-yellow daffodils. She painted the stems with long, quick strokes and then cleaned her brush to add the yellow petals, totally absorbed.
When the blue tit took startled flight in her direction, Bryony instinctively ducked - though the bird cleared where she would have been by several inches - and looked up from her work.
