Cormac hummed his happiness, and kissed her hair lightly. "I'd love to but I don't think it's going to happen," he admitted with a sigh.
"I'm sorry things have been hectic, I know work is intense for you and I'd hoped things would calm down on my end so I could be a bit more of... I don't know," he breathed in her scent and moved his body closer to his. He wanted to be a constant in her life, where her work was dangerous and timeless and her schedule more hectic than his, but he was learning as he went with running a business, and it turned out the learning curve was a bigone.
