It had been far too long since Cho had caught up with Marietta, so she'd decided to do something about it. She'd cleared her schedule for the afternoon, made sandwiches and macaroni salad and picked up a bottle of sparkling juice for each of them.

Cho hummed to herself as she made her way from her flat on Monument down the Alley to Diagon wearing a simple dress - it wasn't quite full spring yet, with clouds in the sky keeping sun from truly sinking into her skin, but it was quite warm and she wanted to take advantage. Her ballet flats were quiet on the cobblestones and she felt comfortable and at peace as she entered Flourish & Blotts and waved to Marietta. Crossing the store, she said, "I'm kidnapping you for your lunch break. Or we can just eat here, but either way, I brought lunch." She gave her friend a bright smile, it really had been too long.

Sorry it's been a crazy week

The store had been extremely busy that morning. There had been several new releases that hit yesterday and word had gotten out causing business to be on the rise as people with those particular interests made their way to peruse and hopefully purchase said texts.

Finally, she'd been ordered to take a lunch break and she was just about to go sit down with the bowl of left over soup and bread she'd brought with her for the day. Before she could leave the counter though the bell on the door rang and she sighed only to turn around and have her face break into a smile. "Cho," she greeted her friend moments before the announcement of a kidnapping.

"Sounds brilliant, I could really use an escape." Days where they were overly busy with browsers who may or may not purchase were most exhausting in her opinion.
