Marietta flinched slightly when Dominic's hand landed on her arm. She wasn't in a mode where she had prepared herself for a stranger's touch and as such he'd caught her completely off guard. "Will they show up?" she replied taking a small unconscious step to separate them. That was the question was it not? Then he spoke of the chess club and she tried her best not to cringe outwardly. People liked Seamus and Ron which meant that they would come out just to support a friend. Marietta had built so much space between herself and even those she considered friends that she even expect them to pause their lives to support her endeavors.
"I suppose I could check the quality of the Irish Cream," she sighed, wringing her hands together as she turned to check the bar area to see if there was enough extra to allow her to sample the first part of the initial task.
