When she mentioned the nervousness, Dominic reached out and put a gentle hand on her arm. "What's to be nervous about?" he asked, smiling. He didn't want to dismiss her feelings, only to make her feel a little better. "Everything's set up, all we have to do now is wait for people to show up. It shouldn't be too long - a few minutes." He tipped his head towards Seamus. "Trust me, we have plenty of experience putting things on here. Even if there aren't that many players the first time, word will get out. Chess club was just Seamus and Ron for a few weeks at the beginning."

Actually admitting to her nervousness made Marietta seem a little more human than she had on their date. "Come on," Dominic suggested. "We've got all this drink ingredients. One little drink'll make you feel better."
