Nodding her head, Stacey agreed, "Yeah, sometimes it's a really foreign concept to people and they can't seem to wrap their heads around it. I can't tell you how many times I've had someone say that I 'just haven't met the right man yet'." Even repeating the comment made her roll her eyes slightly. Her grandmother was still convinced that she and Zacharias were dating just because they lived together, no matter how many times she'd tried to dissuade the woman from that line of thinking.

She smiled at his answer, glad to hear that things were going well. "I know what you mean. If I didn't have Meatball around, I think I would have lost my mind by now." All things considered, the parlor probably could use at least one more artist, but for the time being they were doing fine. "It's good that you like it. I got obsessed with tattoos when I was seven, so opening my own shop was kind of a dream come true. I could hardly believe it for the first few weeks."
