"It's good to meet someone who does actually get it. The people who told me ace as a word weren't actually ace themselves and I don't think I've met anyone else in the wizarding world," he said grinning. "And of course most people just don't get it even if they understand in theory." And that was a big if sometimes, he'd had a few experiences of people being huge dicks about it.
He snorted. "I'm from a big family and I until I lost my leg I did a fucking busy job, I am pretty much always happy to eat."
Realising that she wasn't going to start work again straight away he pulled over his nuts too and dug in. "Actually it's pretty good. I've got a great team, the new hires are working out well, we usually do good business, and LGBTQ night is really doing well. It's not been a year yet, but being able to expand like that already has been great. I mean I always hoped I'd be able to do it, but if the staff hadn't been behind me it wouldn't have been possible." He was often enthusiastic about talking about the club, and even though the numbers at the beginning had been a bit shaky here and there he was definitely on course to finish out his first year in a positive way. "I mean, it's a fucking huge change from the dragons, but it's good. I've always been a dancing and music fan, and I'm good at managing my money so it seemed like a good fit and something we were lacking around here."
