Charlie snorted, trying not to move as Stacey settled the trace into position. "I have been accused of being all work and no play, which given previous experience I would never have fucking believed, but it turns out getting a business off the ground is hard work!" He was pretty sure she knew about that at least. Plus he suspected he was rather more replaceable at his job than she was at hers.
He looked at the blue lines that delineated the different coloured squares and raised his leg and shifted slightly so he could see the underside too. He nodded slowly in appreciation. "Looks good to me," he said, settling back again and clapping his hands together. "Let's get started." This process had been a long time coming really, not just from when he'd first come into the shop, but right back when he was still getting used to and accepting the new way his body looked and moved. This was definitely beyond acceptance, this was making it something to be proud of.
