He shifted himself around until he was in the centre and lay himself back until he was comfy. "Think this'll do me. Although if you need me to hold my leg off the table I'm going to need to stick something underneath it because I don't think I can be in pain and keep my leg in the fucking air," he said. He was a realised. His muscles had developed so he could hold his leg in the air just fine with or without a prosthetic on for fairly long periods, but add pain into that and he was pretty sure he had no chance of not flinching out of the way.
