St. Patrick's day with (at least) two Irishmen

After the day's festivities of winning the scavenger hunt(if you could call it that), Aidan was ready to really celebrate the day. Drinking. He so rarely got absolutely off-his-arse drunk, he allowed himself to on St. Patrick's Day. His PR person (he still had one, Merlin knows why) didn't like it much, but he wasn't a hazard. He never had any criminal charges, he just may get a bit loud. Such was life.

Sitting at a table, knowing he wouldn't be able to handle a stool in a few hours, he ordered the first round of drinks, waiting for his longtime friend, Fin, to show up.

Fin had invited Cho to join him and Aidan after their team (which had ended up having a surprisingly fun day with Chris and Pandora, two people she didn't know well at all) had lost. She'd gladly accepted his invitation even with the small feeling of worry she had over meeting a friend of his. She'd met his teammates, sure, but she knew two of them and knew they wouldn't judge her or Fin. This felt different, somehow.

And so she followed behind him a little bit and gave a bright smile and small blush when introduced to Aidan, who was very handsome and very nice if the way the two men greeted each other was any indication of the latter. "It's nice to meet you," she said, putting out her hand a little bit formally.

How Chris and Pandora had ended up on their team, Finbar didn’t know. Well, he knew that he and Cho had looked for someone not Ravenclaw, and a couple of minutes later, Cho – who seemed to know everybody, even if she didn’t know them well – had found them both a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin; two people who seemed as different as could be, and yet they had a chemistry that had Fin wondering why they weren’t more than they appeared to be. Anyway, it had been fun, even if they had lost, and he had been to the Zoo, which… he hadn’t been before. Now, though, he had a new place to take the kids the next time they stayed at his place, or maybe suggest to Krum for their next outing.

Cho, of course, was amazing as ever, and though the treasure hunt and the zoo had been fun, she was the one who had made it great. He had to admit, though, that he was a little nervous about introducing her to Aidan. He doubted his old friend would dislike her, but it was a big step, and Lynch was one of the very few people who knew how his marriage to Ruby had been.

Fin greeted Aidan with a quick hug and a pat on the shoulder before he introduced Cho to him. “Cho, this is Aidan, formerly one of the best Seekers and now, due to old age, a man of leisure.” He gave Cho’s hand a squeeze, and turned his attention to Aidan. “Old man,” he said, then raised his voice a bit just to mess with Aidan’s head. “This is Cho,” he enunciated carefully, “she owns Charming Parties.”

Aidan was hesitant about any woman Fin brought around, not that there were many. It was much easier to assume it wasn't going to be permanent or even somewhere in the "long-term" range. But he was still polite, nonetheless.

After greeting Fin, Aidan shook Cho's hand with a large, albeit fake, smile. "Nice to meet you, as well." It was much too soon to assume anything about their relationship, but that didn't mean he couldn't embarrass Fin. "Did Fin tell you anything about his 'problem' yet?" Aidan, of course, was not referring to Fin's ex-wife or the divorce.
