Never could it be said that Dora couldn't take a hint, subtle or otherwise. She smiled gently and let the joke fade away, regarding him more seriously. "I don't know. Maybe she isn't sure it's yours?" she posited. "I mean, that is possible." Not as likely, as at this point the child's looks should point to Blaise's somewhat distinctive ones. "That does happen sometimes. Or maybe she's simply afraid that you might want the child all to yourself and have the power to take it away, though anyone who knows you at all would know you wouldn't do that."
