Chris gave Dora's kiss a smirk of a grin and leaned down to kiss her lightly on the lips in hello, hoping she didn't mind (it wasn't as if she was his girlfriend, and besides a slightly tipsy kissing session at the pub, they hadn't been out much in public together, he wasn't exactly sure where they stood, not that they had to be standing anywhere in particular right now). "Afternoon, m'lady," he greeted her in return and put out a cup for her. "I thought you might like something warm while we walk, because after that, puppies and kittens will be snuggling with you and you'll be looking forward to a nice cold drink after if you'd like?" Chris didn't have anywhere else to be this afternoon, so he figured he'd invite her to the pub when they were done.
He wasn't planning on adopting today, but spending time with animals was always good for his spirits and his focus, and he wanted to see how Dora did with that, too.
"Do you have any pets?" He asked, putting out his arm for her to link hers and then walking her down the street toward Rolf's shop and the animal shelter.
