Harry who?
Who: Harry and Lucy
What: Lost in the Ministry
Where: The Ministry of Magic
When: Tuesday 10th March, afternoon
Rating: SFW

Lucy had arrived at the Ministry early, prepared with all the paperwork the Fawley Foundation had suggested she bring. She'd followed the directions to the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, found it easily and waited in the corridor outside until she was called in. It was then that things started to go wrong. Since the magic had been months ago now, and the witnesses already obligated, it was no longer any concern of theirs. The young wizard who looked like he was probably an intern, barely out of school, led her quickly through the winding corridors to the Improper Use of Magic Office. Lucy's meeting there was brief and unsatisfying, the paperwork jerked out of her hands before she was sent away and told they would review her case.

Lucy's sense of direction was usually good, but when she found herself standing at the bottom of a stairway looking out into a room with many shapes and sizes of table and chairs, plus the occassional house-elf popping in and out between to clear plates or deposit food she quickly realised she had no idea where she was. She didn't even know what floor she was on, whether she should go up from here or down. There were windows reflecting a blue sky, but Lucy knew even from her limited experience of the wizarding world that those could be magical and the room could actually be underground.

She was just making her mind up to ask one of the house-elves when someone walked into her from behind, forcing her to take the last awkward step badly, though she managed not to twist her ankle even in the high heels she'd worn for the interview. "Watch where you're going, would you?" she said, a little impatient.
