Once they reached the pond, Bryony circled over it lazily, looking down at the way the sunlight reflected off the water. She'd always loved reflections of light on any surface, it was why so many of her portraits were painted landscapes, it was the only medium she was yet able to get even a glint of that in. Not wanting to land yet, she made sure she was steady on her broom and then slipped her wand from its pocket, conjuring a small stone that she dropped down into the smooth surface of the water to watch the way the ripples broke out until they reached the very edges. As she often did, she wished she could paint from the back of a broomstick, but it just wasn't feasible and she preferred not to paint from photographs unless there was no other option.
Looking up, she caught Marcus smiling - she assumed it was at her. "I wish we could stay here all the time." Marcus was so lucky, to be able to spend hours on a broom with training as a legitimate excuse. She knew he worked hard, that it wasn't all pleasurable or easy, but she also knew that she'd have been just as willing to work hard and put in long hours if that career had been open to her - and if she'd had any natural talent for physicality. "Did everyone come back from the break in good condition?" Though she'd read the results of the Arrows match, she hadn't been able to listen to it live the way she liked and so wasn't even sure who had played - except that Marcus obviously had.
