Seeing that Marcus wasn't even trying to overtake her, Bryony slowed. Even with Marcus, raising her voice didn't come naturally, though she was better with him than anyone else. "I'm just looking around," she said. She still intended to head towards the pond eventually, but she didn't want the flight to be too short. It wasn't often she got to fly with her friend, let alone do so openly without worrying about being caught. She turned a quick circle, just because she could, robes fluttering out behind her.
"This is nice," she added. She didn't want to think too hard about the advantages of Philipa being in St Mungo's - it felt selfish - but this was definitely one of them. "We should do this more often. I know you're busy..." She smiled and gave a slight shrug. She couldn't resent Marcus having so many demands on his time - not while they were things that made him happy.
At a more sedate pace - though with more ups and downs than were really necessary - Bryony started to make a path towards the pond. "How's training been?" she asked.
