Hugs from Marcus, rare or not, always made her feel better - reassured that someone, at least, would always be there for her, to protect her. She smiled, probably more brightly than she had in weeks. "Better now. I was at home from Friday afternoon." Shauna, unsurprisingly, had not been content with a single day of celebration. Friday night had been a party for her friends, which Bryony had mostly managed to slip away from, but Saturday had been 'family time'. Marcus knew what that meant for her. "Flying should help even more."
Bryony knew that the Arrows had lost - even though she'd been at home, she'd managed to sneak a look at the sports pages of the Prophet. Still, Marcus seemed in better spirits than he usually was after a loss. Perhaps he was just putting her first. She tied her hair up into a single ponytail and then was basically ready. "Ready to go?"
