Bryony hadn't slept well - she rarely did after a full day spent with her family - but that only meant she was up earlier getting ready for her flight with Marcus. Not wanting to arrive early, especially not to Flint Manor, she sketched a little until it was finally time. She apparated onto the long path up to the doorway - and immediately spotted Marcus waiting for her. She didn't quite run, but she did quicken her pace to meet him and then closed the distance still further by wrapping her arms around his waist and hiding her head against his chest. She didn't often demand physical affection from him like this, but it had been a long few weeks. First Valentine's Day, then Shauna's birthday - and all with the knowledge that Mothering Sunday was coming up.
"Hi." Her voice was a little muffled by Marcus's shirt, so she pulled back, smoothing her robes down self-consciously. "How are you?" The slight breeze blew her curls around her face, prompting her to conjure a ribbon with which to tie them back. "It's almost warm at last." She had still chosen winter robes, especially as it would only get colder the higher they flew.
