Dominic wasn't a fancy cook by any means - but he could reliably fry bacon without burning it or setting anything on fire, which was about the level he considered necessary. Magic helped, of course, and meant he could even have a cup of tea himself while he watched, occasionally flipping the bacon or adjusting the heat. "Tell me when it looks the way you like it," he said, once he'd set everything up and was leaning against Luna's counter with his tea. "My dad takes his as burnt as he can get. I'm a bit better but I still prefer it crispy, so I might need to take yours off the heat earlier."
He glanced around the kitchen, taking in the decor. "Have you got butter for the rolls? Or whatever you like." He should have brought brown sauce, but he couldn't think of everything and butter would do just as well. "Did you and Summerby get everything sorted out that needed doing?" he asked, thinking that if there was anything left he could try to make himself useful beyond providing food.
