Hermione always used proper etiquette when she wasn't on personal terms with someone. It was her way of giving them respect or in some cases contempt. Either of which could always be deciphered by her tone. Today's was definitely full of the former.

"I'm fairly certain it's not every day that you get to be a landing pad for individuals with poor balance," she attempted to poke fun at herself, something she was typically terrible at. She looked down at her glass and noticed it was indeed about half empty at this point. "Sure, something fruity but without the alcohol. I'm not even quite sure what I had to begin with."
