Greg didn't work weekends. George had tried to convince him several times but the longer Greg spent at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes the more he hated it and the less likely he was to do anything to make George's life easier. The war was over, but that didn't make the Weasleys any nicer to spend time around as far as Greg was concerned. So it was with no littler annoyance that Greg discovered on Sunday morning that he'd accidentally walked out on the previous Friday without his journal.
The shop wasn't as busy as Greg had expected and George, for once, had actually been present in the front of the shop. Spotting Greg, he'd not hesitated before pressing a small square of parchment into his hands and instructing him to stick it to the front window on his way out - regardless of the fact Greg had insisted he wasn't working. In the end, it was easier just to do it than find someone else willing to take on the task.
Outside, Greg had to squeeze past several people to get to the window, stepping on at least one person's toes without any apology. He stuck the parchment in place - perhaps a little askew - and stepped back, frowning, to read it. 'PRODUCT TESTERS WANTED. APPLY WITHIN'. Greg could only hope that meant George was done with whatever he'd been doing in the back of the shop for weeks.
