Pursing her lips, Rose met Rolf’s kiss and smiled up at him. Even at home, they didn’t really have to restrain themselves. If Dennis was home it was only a matter of closing the door and the sound proofing wards would keep things quiet outside the room. But being away from home, alone like this… there was just something special about it, something freeing, freer, that when they were back in London. “Mmm, somebody’s got a lucky girlfriend!” she chirped, and kissed the top of Ant’s head. “And someone’s boyfriend’s going to get very lucky, isn’t he?” Crouching down by the puppy bed, she set the squirming Ant down to his siblings and let Bast take over the parenting for a while. The wiggles really were getting bigger and were not just wriggling but outright climbing back and forth across each other.
“Northern lights?” Looking back up at Rolf she got back up and went to stand in front of him. Until now she hadn’t been aware of just how far north they were, but if there really were northern lights here. “You mean, we don’t have to freeze our arses off to see them?” Biting her lip, she tugged playfully on the front of his shirt and cast a glance at the bed that was right in the middle of the room and then up to the glass roof above them before she looked back up at the sexiest man she knew. “As in, we can be warm and cosy and still see them?”
