Rolf smiled down at her, dropping a kiss on her upturned face and gently running a finger down Ant's soft back. He could have found babysitters for the wiggles, but if he were honest, once he was invested in a litter, he worried a lot when they were apart from him. Besides, he'd known Rose would feel similarly about Ant, who he had a feeling would be her familiar, and he had wanted both of them to be happy and relaxed for the day.
"I heard about it from someone who plans on bringing his girlfriend here someday," he said with a smile. He was thrilled that she liked his choice, and that he had managed to surprise her. Though admittedly he'd banked heavily on how distracted she'd been by the wiggles ever since they'd found them. If she'd really looked, it wouldn't have been hard to find -- this time.
"The Northern Lights are supposed to be spectacular up here, and it's still an excellent time of year for it," he told her. "And I'm selfish, I wanted to spend time with just you this weekend." Well, the wiggles and Bast didn't count completely, though of course they'd have a portion of their attention too.
