Dean managed a small smile and poked him in the arm. "I mean it's totally something I could do, but it's pretty off-putting for probably everybody involved. Maybe I should have suggested it to-" he cut himself off from mentioning Ophelia's name, it would only taste bitter in his mouth. He sighed again and then shuddered when Seamus suggested Susan. "Fuck no. I love Susan, but I love Susan like a sister. And Ginny and I aren't really...I mean it didn't work out last time, did it? And Ernie..." he trailed off with a bit of a hand wave. None of them really appealed in a romantic sense. Right now what he needed was a break. And maybe an eventual relationship where he didn't feel under pressure to impress the other person.
He dug the fork into some of the exposed cake, not really being too careful so it ended up rather ragged. He made a happy moan when he tasted it. "Why do I not go to the cake shop more often, again?" he asked, before he'd even swallowed properly. It was unfairly good cake. Far beyond his own creations, however fun they might be. Dean rolled his eyes. "I have no idea. I mean, sure they bicker, but that's not exactly new. I think all that happened with their relationship is they resolved their sexual tension, which was a bloody relief to me, at least." He grinned and then waggled a fork full of cake at Seamus. "Want more?"
