Dean snorted bitterly. "Yeah, I haven't been, that was part of the problem." He was really appreciating Seamus' outrage, because he could tell there was more under the surface from both the tone of his voice and just knowing him for so long. The fact his potion had dulled his emotions a bit was good for him, especially the way he'd been feeling when he arrived, but sometimes it felt really good to have someone else to feel what he couldn't on his behalf.
"I don't know, but I was so... shocked at first. Angry too, but shocked that she'd do that. I know keeping it from her at first might not have been the best plan, but it was never intentional, you know?" He was waving his hands rather half heartedly, passionate but comfortable as he was.
He could feel the tension in Seamus' body, but the contact was good for him and he didn't really want to move. "Yeah, go ahead. I don't want to see her. I'm gonna have to hide out at work, because I am not avoiding the studio for her." Now that he thought about Ophelia in a specific situation he could feel the curl of anger at her. Not wanting to see her was something of an understatement. He had a feeling any meeting might result in more shouting, and would probably do so for some time now. "Maybe I'll just bring a couple of canvases back to my place."
