Alicia had seen Susan arrive at Finnigan’s, she had even found herself amused by the efficiency with which Susan navigated the room, and yet she still found herself surprised when sooner than she had expected, her friend unceremoniously plopped into the chair across the table from her. “Haven’t felt busy,” she laughed, and leaned forward to rest her elbows on the table.

News… Alicia didn’t think she had any new news, however, given how long it had been since she had last seen Susan, there were probably a couple of things that could be considered news. “London is criminally colder than St. Thomas?” she tried, “and… I applied and was accepted into university, so I’ll be leaving Pride at the end of the season.
