Last Minute Gifts
Anyone who hasn't yet bought a Valentine's gift may be in luck. I have ten bouquets of wooden roses that I've finished experimenting on and am willing to give away free. Each one is enchanted to emit a different scent, which should last for about a week. If you really want just the roses, I can remove the enchantment. First come, first served and if there's any left over by 5pm Friday I'll take them to Finnigan's and leave them in The Corner for pick-up.

Scents (from left to right, top to bottom): Apple, Strawberry, Vanilla, Fig, Plum, Marshmallow, Peach, Lemon, Blueberry, Chocolate.

I like how the white and purple one looks. I don't know the proper etiquette for staking a claim on something free, but I know someone who would love that one and would like to claim them if I may.

Sure. Would you like me to send it to you, or to someone else directly?

To me is fine. I've a few things in mind for this present, so I think that would be better in this situation.

I don't need any of course, but those are really lovely, Dominic.

Those are gorgeous, Dominic! Are you really giving them away?

I can't actually take credit for the way they look. I bought them from a market stall and just used them to test out enchantments. I'm done with them, and the client who wanted a bouquet with one of each rose for his baby's nursery has his finished product - and paid handsomely. Would you like one? I can change the scents around, but I might not be able to get it to you by Saturday in that case.

I would love one, thank you.

How strongly are they scented? After all, none of the scents you've listed would outright clash with anything I have in the shop.

I aimed for about as scented as an actual rose, which was an incredibly hard balance to hit. They won't perfume a whole room, not by any stretch, but you should be able to smell them without shoving your face right into them.

I can imagine that being difficult, and in that case, I would like the white one. That is vanilla scented, right?

Yup. I tried to match the colours to the scents, mostly.

What an intriguing idea. Have the Strawberry roses been claimed?

Yes, thank you. I've included my address under a ward.
