"Smarmy!" Dora sat up straighter and snapped her fingers as the word she'd been looking for came to her. She relaxed back into the arm of the sofa, nibbling idly once more as she listened. Her attention, already focused on Mils, tightened further when it was obvious an admission was forthcoming.
"Oh reaaaaalllly," Dora drawled, her eyes narrowing in a telling fashion. "Like those doodles with the dead snakes." Which was childish especially in comparison to some of rhe snippy sly backhanded comments and such. Dora felt bad for Mils but she dealt with such and worse, so she wasn't surprised in the least that a family that had some rumors attached would come up against such pettiness among mixed breeding. She tapped a finger to her lips, contemplating if she needed to have a word with thr man or drop a small bug in a couple of ears.
