Charlie had been wondering for a while about some more ink. He'd had all of his tattoos for a while and sometimes he looked down at the part of his leg that was missing and just wanted to do something to it. His prosthetic was all well and good, and actually it was a great way to distract him or brighten up his day, but he was still wondering if he could make art out of his stump. He knew a few people who had got tattoos on scar tissue and the like so he thought it was probably possible, but he wasn't sure how it might effect any tattoo.

He'd seen the shop before he'd been to work and looked in the window a few times, but he had finally organised himself to come in after he'd had 'breakfast'. He'd have preferred to come in on one of his days off, but the shop seemed to have the same days off he did so he was out of luck.

After he had eaten 'breakfast' at something more like a traditional lunch time he Apparated to outside Wingbeat, mostly by habit, and walked over to the tattoo shop, pushing open the door.

"I can't today. For one I have to work later, but mostly I'm just not prepared. Don't have my crutches, and I'll probably take a day off just to get the initial healing done. And a couple of my staff are pretty new. I don't want to spring that on them." He mentally went through the plans he had for the next few weeks and realised it was rapidly coming up on Valentine's day, which he was planning to do a bit of a thing for and then he couldn't remember what else was coming up without looking at the calendar he kept in his office. He had a feeling he'd also promised his Dad he'd help out with some project or other the last time he'd chatted to him after Sunday Lunch.

He rubbed distractedly at his beard, frowning in concentration. "Merlin I don't even know when to suggest. Either Wednesday or Sundays are probably best. You're closed Monday and Tuesday, like me, right?" He thought hard, absently rubbing at the seam of the protective sleeve over his stump. "Shit, can I get back to you? The calendar's in the office and fuck knows what chaos life is going to throw up on top of regular work."

"That's understandable," Stacey acknowledged with a smile and a nod of her head. For a piece this large, with the circumstances being what they were, it made perfect sense that Charlie would need some more planning than most of her clients.

With another nod, she confirmed, "Yeah, I've gotta be open on the weekends, since it's the best time for business - something I'm sure you're aware of. Take as much time as you need, and just send me an owl to find a time when it will work best for you."
