"Sure thing - I'd hate for you to be inconvenienced because of the ink." Stacey would have hated to have been part of the reason Charlie would have any difficulties, even if the tattoo had been his idea and choice.
"Only if you don't want to do it now," she answered with a grin. "I don't have any appointments for today, so walk-ins are done on a first come, first serve basis. And you're the only one here." Business was usually spilt about even on that count, because while she had plenty of individuals who knew her and had gotten work in the past, therefore making future appointments to continue or finish existing pieces, a fair amount of people walked in off the street, picked something out and got it done then and there.
"It's really up to you," she continued. "As long as you've eaten recently and have the next few hours free, I'm more than happy to do it now, if that's what you'd like. But if you have plans, we can definitely schedule a time later on down the road."
