Over the years, Stacey had learned when to keep up a discussion, and when to leave a customer to their own thoughts about their ink. She stayed silent as Charlie flipped through the pages, letting him mull over the art at his own pace.
"Honestly, I'd warn against the pink with your skin tone," she teased with a grin. "Bolder colors will probably work better with scar tissue anyway. The good thing with patterns is that since it's just repetition, I can keep going as far as I need to in order to cover the area you want," she added with a small nod of her head.
His gesture made her pause for a moment, considering. "It would," she said, and then continued, "We could start with the center at the bottom and work up and out. That might actually work best."
