Rich nodded. "Closest thing to a family sometimes. In the end, you go on." A touch of sadness came to his eyes for a moment as he thought of the people from the war years that's he'd never be reconnecting with again. "It's a pretty good thing you have, from the sound of it."
His eyes lightened. "Well good then. Anything special you like to do? Have to admit to being a weekend broom racer when the season's on, but during the week and when I'm around weekends I've been known to get out and about."
"Nope. Just liked his cow rare, rarer, rarest. And his tequilia warm with salt and lime. Never developed the taste for the first, did for the second.
