Journal Entry: Tristan Travers
After some careful thought and research, I bought a couple crown of thorns plants. They're currently in bloom in my room, and I'm enjoying the added greenery.

Speaking of plants, I hope everyone enjoys the landscaping in Monument Alley and the park there! I don't have much say, but I did try to push for winter blooming plants. I'm also currently debating with someone on whether or not Valentine's Day would be a good theme for next month. Ultimately, it's the supervisor's decision if there are lots of pink, red, and white flowers and topiaries in the shapes of hearts and cupids and other appropriately themed images. I'm of the opinion that if we're meant to landscape this way, we ought to make sure the topiaries can move in fun, non-threatening ways. I suppose we'll see what happens.

Definitely love more greenery if you want to expand at the house, love. I like what you've in your room.

The park is gorgeous.

I thought I'd try simple and confined and slowly expand so I don't accidentally turn the flat into a jungle.

Thank you.

So long as the flat doesn't eat me, I'm good.

If it does, it isn't my fault. It's someone being an arse because I don't want carnivorous plants or human eating plants anywhere near where I eat or sleep.

I haven't been lately, but winter-blooming plants sound lovely. I'll have to make a stop there before Valentine's Day.

I thought they did. I'm glad they decided to go that route, at least for the moment. Who knows what will happen in a week or two. Or even a few days. I hope when you go that you enjoy it!
