Zacharias raised his brows at the news of Stacey's grandmum believing he were her boyfriend. He was a boy who was a friend, and that was the extent of his experience with being a boyfriend. And he'd definitely not had any experience with anyone thinking he was someone's boyfriend. He didn't really know how to react to that. He opened his mouth and then shut it, furrowing his brows a little.
"Did you try telling her that there will be no great-grandchildren with Zacharias?" he said after a moment. "If you didn't, maybe lead with that next time you talk with her." It was what he'd do. It was actually what he'd done himself before, though that was mostly due to the fact that that was the only way to get across to his parents and grandparents that he wasn't interested in one of the witches his grandmother had set him up with. He didn't know if that would work for Stacey with her grandmum. Part of him hoped he'd never have to find out.
