I made some red velvet cupcakes today. They turned out pretty well, I think.

I just love fall. Not that I don't like summer, I do. Fall is nice. There are pumpkin flavored things. I was going to try to make pumpkin flavored pudding.

Also someone brought in some abandoned kittens that are looking for a good home. They have all their shots and are about three months old. If anyone would like to adopt a tiny furry kitty, let me know.

Outside of "kittens" and "cute," what do they look like? What breed are they, or are they mixed?

I'd love to hear more about the kittens. Also: have you tried the pumpkin selections at Melinda's bakery yet? (Oh, I know it's not a bakery, it's much more than that, but still).

There's various types of gray tabbies. Some mixed with white, some with black and some all gray. I have! They're wonderful. I can't wait to have some this season.

I've got mostly gray ones. I do have an older cat who needs a home that's a calico, she's about eight months old though.

The cupcakes sound great. I'd offer to do a swap for my most recent baking but I'm afraid it all got finished on Saturday, listening to the Appleby game.

Romi says it's fine, but I'm not sure about the bottle feeding. It's not that I'm not capable, but I don't feel comfortable leaving a bottle-feeding kitten while I fuck off to work for hours.
