Dean watched the half-expected pout, his eyes lingering on Seamus' mouth even after he began talking, wondering how to capture the image, of if he just wanted to keep it in his head. "Oh, well you know I don't usually have much by way of a deadline. And we can always invest in warmer clothes or some fun spellwork if we want to go to, like, Finland or something. But pretty much whenever would in theory work for me."
He nodded, stroking vaguely across one of the pages of the book they were flipping through. "Yeah, we've gone through all the final numbers and stuff, so it's all sorted out. The next one won't be for at least twelve months, probably more like eighteen," he said, adding a little shrug and a twitch of a smile. "We all did pretty well actually. Cadmus sold out, Braith and I both did over half and I know Ophelia's jewellery all went, but she had quite a few of the other things left over. The guy in charge of my bank account is way happier with me right now. It won't cover the whole period until the next show but its an excellent buffer," he said, fiddling with is hands. He didn't like talking about money really, and he knew Seamus wasn't really asking about it, but it could be a concern for him sometimes if he hadn't sold much in a while.
He knew Seamus wasn't the biggest Valentine's fan, and nor was he really. Although presumably this year he'd have something to actually celebrate, what with having a girlfriend. It didn't feel quite as appealing as perhaps it should. Probably their tricky patch talking. "Yeah, probably," he said, chewing absently at his lip. "I imagine hearts will overtake everything in the shops soon. Madam Puddifoot's all over again," he added, pulling a rather unimpressed grimace. He'd only really been there once, with Ginny, and he had decided it wasn't his thing.
