It was days like this he felt lost and overwhelmed when it came to being a parent -- especially a single parent. So even a small bit of assistance was something that meant a lot to him, even from someone he only knew in passing. "I haff a couple of more stores, da," he replied. "If you're certain I am not keeping you from something."
