His face showed his gratitude at the offer quite openly. "I don't want to put you out," he said, meaning it. "He's just been so fussy the past few days, and I can't seem to put him down for a second without tears and everyvone glaring at me." Like he was a bad parent and a rude person, but when his son wasn't feeling well, he really didn't want to leave him with only the elf, and there were a few things he simply couldn't get by owl.
