It's been such a busy couple of weeks. Winter is just as bad for animals getting sick as it is for humans. If anyone needs to know what sickness looks like in their particular animal, let me know. Sometimes the signs aren't exactly obvious. And it should go without saying, but please keep your pets indoors during winter. It's not fair to them to leave them outside.

Also it looks like I'm going to be taking over the newspaper as well? I don't know what to do about it. I can't just give it to someone, it's the life work of my father. I guess now I have two jobs?

I guess it's a good thing that I've never been on a date, because I won't have any time to do anything soon.

How much of the writing did your dad do himself? You can certainly hire people to write articles for you and just keep editorial approval - though even that would be a lot of work. Have you thought about the financial aspect?

Remember that all work and no play makes Ravenclaw tower a very dull place indeed. Try to take some breaks, when you can.

Oh I know, it's not the actual writing that I'm worried about. People still write lots of articles. It's all of the editing and putting the paper together. That's the part he did mostly on this own. You're right, that's a lot of work. I have a bit but I don't think I could ever sell the Quibbler. It's my father's whole life.

I know, I Know. I'm just not sure where the 'when I can' comes into play.

I wasn't really suggesting you sell it, just wanted to make sure you'd thought about how much it costs to put together versus how much it's making and whether you can take a salary to compensate for the extra work. It's the kind of thing not everyone would think about immediately. If there's enough wiggle room in the budget you could hire an editor to read over the articles and put the paper together. Then all you'd have to do would be approve the final copy.

If you feel yourself getting too frazzled you can always come for a drive or a fly with me. Or just come sit in my workshop - it's always changing as I work on different projects so it should be interesting without being stressful.

I've been doing nothing but thinking about it. I have my own business. It's all up in the air and complicated and I'm trying to work through it all. It's not easy. It would be nice if I could just approve everything and that would be that though.

Thanks, I'd like that. Once I actually have time. Who knows when that will be. Probably never.

Never say never. If you need me to, I'll kidnap you for an afternoon. Then it won't be your fault.

Well I don't think I'd mind that very much. I like when things aren't my fault.
