Sunny Spain?
Just another note (in case you missed the ones on the Finnigan's noticeboards) that I'm going to be away from Monday 12th to Saturday 17th. I'm leaving the pub in capable hands and I've convinced people to cover my activities so it shouldn't make any difference, really, but if anything weird seems to be happening (or my flat's on fire for some reason) please contact Susan Bones or Dominic Chambers who'll both be around.

We leave in 2549 hours! I can't believe it's actually happening. Are you sure Professor McGonagall isn't going to turn up at 9 tomorrow and remind me I've got a Transfiguration essay I need to write before we can go?

	Me either. I can't settle to anything. I keep having to go back to the storeroom because I've forgotten something or got the wrong thing. 	Have you met me? I've got a bag and a vague idea of what I should be putting in it. That's about it. I've got tomorrow. And before Battlescars. Possibly shouldn't leave it quite that late though. 	I didn't question it. I just nodded and agreed. I'm not exactly better. I'll put suncream on your visible skin just in case. I'm still taking layers though. I'm still not sure how you convinced people that was a workable idea. Then again so do I, or partly, and I'm not much better. Sometimes worse.

I'm sure there's a science reason. But we went to magic school not science school. I'm not asking Jess, although she'd probably know, I don't need the whole lecture thing.

Oh, and I'm home. Braith pretty much turfed me out of the door. No, I still haven't started packing. I'm just trying to work out how to finish up all the food that'll go off before I go.

I'm in my room. Do you know, laid out on the bed like this all my clothes kind of look the same... Jeans, t-shirts, jackets, socks. How do I decide which ones are important?

I'd say bring it over and we'll have a feast but I have dinner plans. We can feast tomorrow. Me, you, Susan, Dominic, Colin. How much food do you have?

What a shock. Don't think mine's much better. My usual aim is something like comfortable and shouldn't look like shit. And take extra in case of rain, because my mother's voice is in my head reminding me of this.

I can probably stretch to that many, plus maybe American pancakes Sunday morning for us if I come early. I need to use up the eggs and milk and cookies for Battlescars only uses one or two eggs.

It'll be some throw-it-all-in stew and stir-fry type things. I'm out of potatoes though, you might need to grab a few from the pub for jackets. I can bring rice. I'll eat the weird combos tonight.
