Happy New Year!

I didn't really get to celebrate, what with working until the early hours, but we may have popped open some sparkling wine when we got back to the office at the end of our shift. How could we not be happy with only one incident of magical fireworks being let off in a built-up Muggle area? That's basically a New Year's Eve miracle!

At least most other people are sleeping late today, so I don't really feel like I'm missing anything. But it might have been nice to go to a party last night, especially as 2004 feels like it ended up being pretty special. Maybe I'll just have to do something for Burns Night instead.

I hope no one's hangover is too bad today!

Happy New Year!

I spent the evening in with Ophelia, avoiding fireworks. It was nice. I guess.

I don't envy you having to work. But at least we have a lack of hangover in common.

A nice quiet night in can be lovely and I really appreciate not having a hangover. But I have to say I wouldn't have minded a kiss at midnight from my someone special! Can't have everything, I suppose.

It was good, I enjoy a quiet evening. And the midnight kiss was nice too. Not that it ever goes anywhere these days. Stupid potions
