RP: Ringing in the new year

It was early in the night but Romilda ordered a shot of tequila for the heck of it. She had come to the Pub figuring it was better than being truly alone and somehow less depressing than being at the Club and watching Charlie work all night. Her parents had invited her to some Pureblood dinner party or another, but she'd begged off. Her mother had been hinting more and more that she should settle down and sell the sex shop and meet a nice boy (or girl, luckily her mother didn't seem to discriminate against anyone but spinsters).

So now she sat in a simple, little, black dress at the bar, by herself, and ordered a strawberry margarita to follow up her shot. The bar was busier than usual, especially for a Wednesday night, but not as busy as she thought. Hopefully it will pick up later, she thought, as she smiled and thanked the bartender for her new drink.
