Besides,” she nodded towards his hands that while clean, still had that tint of colour around the nails. “You’re preparing ingredients and even you wouldn’t waste a girl in the bed by cutting up… whatever it is you’ve been chopping.” Not to mention, she really preferred thinking of Adrian as not having a girl here, and it was simply easier by covering it up with confident observations.

“Depends on what you’re in the mood for,” she said with a bit of a smile, clearly pleased to have been right about him not being too busy to go out, as she followed him. “We can go see what Seamus is serving up or go Muggle?” Alicia leaned against the doorframe to Adrian’s bedroom, watching him as he put on his shoes. “They’re getting excited about school,” she mused with a fond look. “Had them fitted for new uniforms on Saturday and I think Liam grew half a foot just being told that he’d grown too big for his old one. So what were you up to last night?”
