Genie wasn't exactly sure of the venue, so she did a lot of hemming and hawing over what to wear. She had plenty of selection, though a lot of it had been bought in excellent second-hand condition or as designer replicas. She'd never had much money, but her tastes could definitely run expensive if she wanted to go that way.
She finally settled on the classic little black dress, following the adage that one could never be over or under dressed in a little black dress. It clung excellently to her curves, which were generous, and showed off just enough cleavage to be tasteful. It would be appropriate just about anywhere, or her attitude would make it be. She added a little black overjacket, just for show, since she ran warmer than the average person.
She arrived jsut about on time, trying not to take too much time. She always did enjoy going out, though, and the time she'd taken with her looks showed that to an extent -- the gold loop earrings, the high heels that she thought would put her at about Blaise's height, her hair.
She smoothed her hands down her dress and looked around with a smile. Most men didn't bother taking her out, so this was a nice change, she thought.
