Seamus didn't pay too much attention to the conversation about Jess. He'd heard it all first hand when they all went out to dinner, whenever that would be. Best let Jess have the pleasure of telling him herself exactly what biochemistry was - and just how much smarter it made her than he was.
"I'm not hurt," Seamus pointed out, spreading his arms wide as if to display his lack of physical injuries. "Grumpy, a bit, but that's what you two are here for. And brownies and lemon cookies." He gave them each a considering sort of look, then grinned. "Mostly the brownies and lemon cookies, really."
He bit into his own lasagne - which was only slightly less delicious than when it had been hot and fresh. "Well, at least we know he's alive. Can't we force him to take some time off? I know we're not shining examples but... one day? Or even just an afternoon?" If Seamus had some selfish reasons for wishing Justin got more time off, he didn't think it necessary to mention it.
