Looking back down at the journal, Marcus studied it a little closer, but there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary that he could find. He looked back up, about to inform Blaise that there was nothing there, when the other man offered something like an explanation.

Rather than try and drag any more out of Blaise, Marcus glanced at the open journal in front of him, trying to work through what Blaise was telling him. The kids only part seemed to be the most important, and after a few moments of frowning in thought, something clicked in his mind, "What, do you mean that there's something there intended only for people with children?" Because that would explain why he couldn't see whatever Blaise was referencing, and why the man seemed more than a little off tonight.
