By any chance, does anyone know of any place that might be hiring or a good place to volunteer?

Breathe.

Breathe in.
Breathe out.

You are fine.
You still have your wits about you.
You are fine.

Breathe in.
You are safe.
Breathe out.
You are safe.

Focus.
Focus on breathing.
Focus on reading.
Focus on touching.
Focus.

Breathe in.
You are free.
Breathe out.
You are free.

You are alive.
You did not die after all.
You are alive.

Breathe in.
Breathe out.

Breathe.

Tristan, I can't think of any off-hand, but I'll keep my ear out just in case. I'm guessing it will be hard for you, won't it. I'm told my name has a bit more influence now that I'm on the first line. If you think it would help, you can use me as a contact. I'll vouch for you.

Thank you, to both of those, especially the second. It means a lot to me. I know there's some positions open at a club, but I don't know that I'll get it even if a CV isn't a deal breaker or that it'd be the best fit for me.

It's the least I can do. You helped me years ago when I need it and now it's your turn to need some help. I don't know how far my name would go, but you're welcome to it.

I didn't really do anythi I don't know how far it will go, either, but I do know that it means a lot to me that you'd be a contact like that. I know I already said that, but I wanted to say it again. Heh. Thank you, Vee.

We should catch up some time if you've a break from that no doubt busy schedule of yours.

We should. I have games once a week, practices during the week, and teach yoga/meditation on Mondays and Tuesdays noon. So aside from game days, my evenings are usually free. Let me know when would be good for you and I'll be there.

I don't know about work, but the Fawley Foundation is always looking for volunteers to spend time with the children. I could introduce you around, if you're interested. The young ones love to play with Wallace when we visit.

What is the Fawley Foundation? I might be interested in going with you and Wallace.

I don't know if you remember Daniel Fawley, was my roommate at Hogwarts. Anyway, he married Alicia Spinnet and long story short, he died in the war and she started a foundation with his money to help children orphaned in the war, etc etc. Lots of charity stuff. I take the kids out often, bring Wallace over to play with them, bring them ice cream, and in general corrupt them as I used to corrupt you when you were young. It's fun, reminds me of old times.

Orphans from the war? I'm not sure that's such a good idea to mix me with them and the Foundation. Not directly. Not in such a direct, in your face manner. And, at the risk of possibly being selfish or something about it, I might be responsible for some of them being orphans. But I'm glad you and Wallace spend time with them and get to be terrible influences on them.

The Bestiary could always use another clerk or a volunteer with the animals in the rescue. If you're interested, come by and we'll see if you're a good fit.

I think I might be interested in either. When would be a good time to come in to see if I'd be a good fit?

Come by any day this week during work hours. Sometime later in the afternoon might be best, after lunch rush but before the evening go? Or first thing in the morning, before lunch.

What are your hours, and when is your lunch?

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 11am-3pm, by appointment only on Sundays.

I tend to eat before or after the traditional lunch hour, so those are the best times -- probably noonish or around three. I'm usually there by 8, as well, most days. Depends on what I have going on.

I think Wingbeat is going to be hiring -- I'll be going in when he has that interview day.

Otherwise, I'm also waitressing in London. WIth the hols coming up, there's a lot of work to be had, whether it's in a store or a restaurant.

I'll be going as well. Good luck!

I've not worked in either, but, currently, I'm not opposed to either. Thank you.

You too!

Well, I know the restaurant I'm at has a few openings, and my housemates have similar places, so I can help out if needed. We're pretty good at finding jobs :P Keeping them isn't always the best, but finding them! That we know.

Is it a wizarding or muggle restaurant?

Right now, we're all in Muggle establishments, but I'm scoping out some of the wizarding ones.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to work in a Muggle establishment, and I'm not sure how well I'd do in one, either. I'd likely cause too much of a disturbance on the basis of having little experience in the Muggle world.

Check it out. If you are, I'd be happy to show you around. Or if you'd rather just learn about the Muggle world, I've lived in it nearly exclusively for years.

I'm hiring at the shop - as many or as little hours as you like, and I can train you on the till or anything else you need. Any interest in magical sports and games?

I have more of an interest in watching them than playing (most of) them. Does that count?

Watching them is interest enough around here - we sell the equipment, the games, and the accessories. Would you like to come in sometime soon and take a look around?

I would! Any days or time particularly better than others, or should I just come in as a presumed potential customer?
