Finbar drew in a deep breath as he stood back up. That hint of perfume and the softness of her skin was such a contrast to the annoyance that was still coursing through his system that it only eased the tension further.
He held Cho’s gaze for just a beat too long, savouring the interest there before he nodded slightly before he took the indicated seat. “Tie,” he said, drinking from his drink and let the flavour settle while Cho cleared the table.
Her shyness was endearing and for just a brief moment a small though genuine smile made its way to the surface. “How’ve you been, Cho?”
