He refused to look at Wayne for a moment, then he shrugged. At this moment, it felt like it hadn't been such a long time after all. He could still feel the heartache of not having Wayne come back to school. He bit his lower lip.

"Like I said.. I was trying to figure out if it was okay to be gay at all.. or if it was okay to feel like that about you." He shrugged again. "It was a long time ago." Justin didn't question the last of Wayne's statement for a while, trying to compose himself.
