Not much is better than a good, proper, comfortable bed.

Although a wand is higher on that list. Especially when that wand is itching to be broken in properly.

All I can do is smile when I see you having an entry here.

What do you want for dinner?

Good to know my presence somewhere makes someone smile!

I haven't thought about dinner yet. Probably nothing too heavy, though? Are you in the mood for anything specific?

Yours always has.

Nothing in particular. Think a regular pizza would go over well? Found this little place that does take away a while back.

Also, feel free to tinker in the workshop, just avoid that cabinet I told you about. And if you want to duel at some point, we'll warm that wand up good.

I think we can try.

Thank you. And I'll likely have to take you up on that. We might both have to go easy on each other, if only so I can get used to things again.

I'll make sure there's nothing too-anything. Want meat on it, or veggie? Or I can get a couple. They take well to being warmed up later.

I can actually just practice and not win. I can. (Don't tell anyone though!) Building up the basics is good though. Might give me some ideas for new stuff anyway.

Maybe a couple then? We'll have snacks for days that way!

I can do that. I'll get a couple different things. That way, no shopping for a few days, yes!

There's a strange part of me that wants to go shopping just to see what's out there, but I like the idea of not actually having to shop for dinner for a few days.

We will go shopping soon! But not having to go out sounds really nice for right now.

There's a dueling club at Finnigan's if you desire.

There's very little that is better than a very nice, comfy bed.

And a wand that works right. Heh.

Yes, a good, working wand is wonderful. Especially one that has never had any other allegiances.

Yeah. I think I need to work on that.

Every witch and wizard should have a good wand that is all theirs.

I do need to fix that at some point. I share mine and it's not particularly fond of me to start.

Is old Ollivander still about, or is there somewhere else I should go?

I hope the cost isn't prohibitive.

Hello dear, nice to see you're adjusting!

How about a nice comfortable meal sometimes soon, my shout? Or possibly my cooking, something along those lines?

Hello there. How are you?

Something along those lines could be really nice, yes.

I'm glad to see you're settling in all right. I think the wand will suit you really well, it looked promising when we bought it.

If you'd like, you're always welcome to come by the house. Mum would love to see you again, and you've yet to meet your replacement - I mean Wallace, of course.

It felt right when we bought it. And, well, the wand picks the wizard, right? So I can blame it if we're not compatible in the end.

I don't know if I want to meet my replacement. I mean, he replaced me! This can't end well, right? But I'd love to meet him and come by and everything else.

Exactly, it's always the wand's fault. I always approve of deflecting blame!

Awww, but he'd love to meet you. Just be careful, he gives wetter kisses than I do. You've an open invitation, anytime you like, even if I'm not around. It's still your home, little brother, whether you want to be there or not.

Especially when it's your fault.

What if he doesn't like me?

What do you mean? It's never my fault, or yours. It's the wand, and the establishment - that's it.

He's a golden retriever, there's nobody he doesn't like. And if he doesn't, we'll just cover you in slices of cooked bacon and you'll be his friend forever.

I don't know how I like the idea of covering me in bacon, cooked or not. Maybe I'll bring him a toy if he doesn't like me.

A toy could work too, but I still like the bacon idea. But I wouldn't worry, Wallace will adore you.

Thanks! I just started on the starting line this season, and I've been giving some meditation and yoga lessons at Finnigan's on my days off. You're welcome to stop by, or even to meet in private. I'd guess you could use something to help - everything must be so overwhelming after six years.
